Deanna Del Vecchio

Deanna Del Vecchio’s career in education has included classroom teaching from primary to post-secondary, community-based learning, and teacher training. She draws on her passion for environmental issues and the arts to engage young people in social change.

Deanna’s work spans the globe. She has led community projects and presented at conferences in North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and Africa; and sat on a committee of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.

A Ph.D. candidate at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, Deanna holds a master’s degree in Art Education from Concordia University in Montreal, and an undergraduate degree in Geography and Biology from the University of British Columbia.
